June 15, 2009: SWEET Ms Teal was rescued from a full kill-shelter in southwestern NC. She and her 2 sisters were brought in by their owners who could no longer afford to feed/care for them. Teal is 1 1/2yrs old, weighs 17lbs, is spayed, microchipped, current on all vax, parasite-free and onheartworm & flea/tick prevention. Teal is very sweet and gentle soul, altho she's a bit timid at first but she warms up immediately when she sees you aren't going to hit her. She gets along well with other dogs, & plays gently with the older ones and puppies, so would be excellent with respectful kids and cats. She walks well on-leash and is crate-trained for nights. She appears to be totally housebroken and will make an excellent companion for any size family(with respectful/gentle children).
